Fellowship Committee Ministries

“GETTING TO KNOW YOU”

The Fellowship Committee of Radcliffe Presbyterian Church works in concert with other church organizations and Session committees to facilitate and promote a sense of community within the congregation through Christian fellowship

Our mission is to provide church-wide fellowship activities which enhance the life of the church and build stronger bonds within the congregation and the community.  Some of these activities include:

 -    Church Picnics

 -    Fellowship Dinners

 -    Officer Appreciation Dinners

 -    Family Night Activities

In addition, the Fellowship Committee periodically spotlights individual church members during worship service as a way of allowing members of the congregation to learn more about each other.

The fellowship Committee meets every 5th Sunday and is moderated by a  church Elder, appointed by the Session.  For 2006, the moderator is Elder Margaret Gardner.

Presbyterian Women in the Congregation (PWC) at Radcliffe

Presbyterian Women (PW) is one of two organizations (the other organization being Presbyterian Men) of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.).  Therefore, membership in Presbyterian Women is open to all women who join Radcliffe.  PW members are those women who choose to participate in or be supportive of PW in any manner.  Based upon the structure of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), the organization at the local church level is Presbyterian Women in the Congregation.

PW throughout the denomination share a common purpose:

Forgiven and freed by God in Jesus Christ, and empowered by the Holy Spirit; we commit ourselves:

  • To nurture our faith through prayer and Bible Study,
  • To support the mission of the church worldwide,
  • To work for justice and peace, and
  • To build an inclusive, caring community of women that strengthens the Presbyterian Church ( U.S.A. ) and witnesses to the promise of God’s kingdom.
